I have taken the opportunity of Lockdown II, to do more virtual networking. It has been brilliant, have met some fabulous people, with fabulous products and services that geographically I would never normally meet.

I have also been using it to do some informal research, looking at what really works and what has been less impactful.

One thing I have noticed more and more is the use of the phrase, “so, that’s me” more often than not uttered with a little shrug. And it is such a shame because it undoes all the brilliant work that the speaker has done to build credibility with their audience.

It is what Amy Burnett, calls going out with a fizzle rather than a bang!

Decide what is you want to end with and end with that. Take up your space and your right to speak. End with a bang!
