There is a mathematical statement that says, If X then Y. This plays out psychologically too. If you have ever heard yourself or others saying, “When I get that promotion then I will…, or When I get that final qualification then I will…, or after I have been doing this a little bit longer then I will…(and they have been saying that for many many moons!)”

We tend to believe that confidence comes from gaining something external. Actually, confidence comes from doing. Doing the thing you are not sure about and simply surviving it. Doing it and finding you are good at it, and maybe secretly loved it. Doing, taking action breed confidence.

Given that what new thing, that scares you just a little bit can you do with your voice today?
