Just prepping for TEDx Academy this week.
We are looking to bring some verbal beauty to our writing. After all we write for the ears not our eyes when we are giving a speech.
Speeches are sound experiences for your listener. The more beautiful we can make them the more memorable they will be and you really want to be memorable after giving a speech!
We are going to be exploring onomatopoeia, alliteration, metaphor and antithesis, and lots of other juicy literary devices.
This was a sentence that a client came up with last week and it has stuck with me all week…
“I am a read-blooded millennial and succulents are my cat-nip”
What a brilliant way to say I love plants!
What have you heard recently that has really stuck with you?
